FFFX25 Dear Author Letter

Hello, dear author!

I'm so glad you got assigned to me, hope you enjoy creating something based on the prompts I came up with. Of course, these are loose only ideas, so feel free to create anything you'd like (minding the DNWs, of course) and I'm sure that I'll love it :)
Also, the prompts aren't exclusive to just one fandom, if you like a prompt I put under a fandom you don't like/know, feel free to change their places them!
(example: a prompt under CoD used for a fic from FFXV)

Above all, I hope you have fun during the whole creating process!

DNW in alphabetical order:

•  abortion and miscarriage (mentions of past miscarriages are fine, just don’t make it the focus of the story)

Likes: 

• I adore Soap, his Scottishness, how open he is (and sometimes insecure). His jokes (and Ghost's puns), his whole relationship with Ghost. Ghost is my second fav, I love fics where he goes to therapy and is more adjusted to life than Soap. The whole 141 as Friends - the prank wars they could have!
• I also like Alejandro/Rodolfo, their loyalty to each other is admirable.
• World building! Action sequences! Case fics! Give me bullets flying through the air!
• Soap and his messy family life.
• Selkie AU (for both Ghost and Soap)
• Wounds, wound care, scars (I adore them!)
• Hurt/comfort, angst (I prefer a happy ending though), Whump
• yearning, pining (especially Soap/Ghost, but I like Rodolfo/Alejandro or Gaz/Price as well)

DNW:

• Price/Soap,

• Spanish in the text (or any other lang for that matter) if you use the translator and don't know the language at all. I don't enjoy fics where phrases in other languages are thrown in the text, when it's quite clear the author doesn't know the language. If you want to show a character who's bilingual, do some research, please. We don't just throw in words from our language randomly. 
• Smut (fade to black and kissing is fine).
• Any CoD character / Original Character (it's fine if it's not the main focus and not the end ship)

Prompts:

• A character of your choosing being hurt and hiding it (could be Soap but maybe it's Ghost? Or Gaz? Or PRICE even? That would be cool)
• A kidnapping occurs and the whole 141 has to go rescue the kidnapee (accompanied by Rodolfo and Alejandro, quizas?)
• Being undercover, having to hide your identity, being on the run with limited resources
• Character's past coming to bite them (could be an estranged father or a past lover, or an enemy)
• Hidden talents being discovered in a slice of life situation
• Strong characters turning out to be softies inside (they show they care so much, maybe too much, about their team)

Likes: 

• Astarion. He's a rat, I love him. I would love to see him hurt and comforted, maybe because of his vampirism. Or Cazador. Him finally freeing himself from his maker.
• Gale. I used to despise him but I now love him with all my heart. Make him miserable and then comfort him, he deserves it.
• Karlach. Ah, my heart. She's my favourite, I think. I would love to see some more of her, how she interracts with others (Shadowheart wink wink), how her inability to touch anyone, or feel strong emotions impacts her and her relationships (can be totally platonic!)
• Shadowheart. My girl is amazing, hurt her, please. Give me hurt/comfort with Shadowheart
• Case fics
• Worldbuilding
• Angst (with a happy ending), hurt/comfort
• Magic! Learning spells

DNW:

• Tav as character

Prompts:

• finding a mirror (or something in that vein) that shows what-could-have-beens. Hurt/comfort or angst ensues.
• After defeating Cazador, Astarion is lost. He needs help from his companions (or just Gale) to find himself.
• A spell that hurts every time you use it but you use it nonetheless. Nobody knows until they do.
• A teammate discovers some worrying scars and asks about their origins. They wish they hadn't.
• Preparing for a battle (or it's aftermath) when the character(s) is already exhausted
• Hiding sickness until it's almost fatal
• A character being stuck in a time loop and nobody believing them
• A character losing their power and having to deal with it/hiding it (+the consequences!)

Likes:

• Prompto in general, as well as Regis and Nyx.
• I enjoy MT!Prompt stories, and him having to deal with his past, not being human.
• I like the Chocobros and their dynamic, especially their jokes. 
• Noctis being a prince (having duties that prevent him from being normal/leading a normal life)
• Gladio/Ignis (and how they deal with being so close to Noct and having to put him first)
• Hurt Ignis or Gladio - they're caretakers, so putting them in a situation where they have to be taken care of would be interesting
• Regis & Prompto
• Nyx/Cor could be interesting
• Noctis/Prompto
• Canon Divergence - the Bros meeting in different circumstances, someone taking a differnent path in life, etc.

DNW:

• Noctis/anyone except Prompto
• Prompto/Nyx Ulric
• omegaverse

Prompts:

•  Someone who's usually a caretaker being taken care of
• Chocobros discovering that Prompto is an MT, maybe them deciding to hide it from Regis/Cor/anyone
• Alternate history - what could have been, how else could the story have gone? Maybe there was no invasion or Prompto wasn't rescued
• Royalty AU - someone other than Noctis is a royal (and hides it?)
• Mistaken identity 
• Regis spending time with Prompto and discovering why Noctis likes him so much

• K-unit being weirded out by Alex (he's a kid, they're grown-ups but he's like a miniature adult. It's creepy)

Prompts:

•  Having to grow up too soon and what that does to you - regrets (with a hopeful ending!)
• A character suffering from chronic pain having to tell others to slow down
• Undercover as a family with Yassen as a weird uncle/big brother
• Ghosts are real. And the ghosts of your victims are hunting you
• Escaping the spy life and the repercussions (being hunted by spies, having to constantly watch over your shoulder). With a happy or hopeful ending, please!
• Yassen's past victim sees him and snitches. He gets hurt and Alex and/or Tom have to help

• exploration of Kaz, his issues, his past. Kaz suffering and plotting.

• Wylan angst or hurt/comfort, especially him hiding his issues or past from the Crows and them figuring out why he hates his father
• Inej and Kaz pining for each other and dealing with not being able to touch each other
• Everybody Lives AU (yes, meaning Matthias)
• Canon divergence - for example another meeting

DNW:

• smut (fade to black is fine)
• angst with no happy ending 
• ableism that's just there and has no plot relevance 
• Anyone that doesn't have magic in the canon having magic (for example Kaz being a Grisha)

Prompts:

• Wylan hiding from the Crows why he's hiding from his father and them finding out in the worst possible way/the worst possible time
• Heists gone wrong
• Betreyal of the team for greater good (and how the Crows deal with being betrayed - do they forgive?)
• Surprising talents being brought to life

Likes:

• Tim focused fics, where Tim has low self esteem but he gets better. There's nothing like a character thinking themselves unlovable beaing proven wrong. Tim acting as a president of WE (and how a teenager deals with this amount of responsability)
• Dick (you can make him angsty AF, break him)
• Jason being loved by the residents of the Crime Alley, Jason being a crime lord
• Family reunions
• Batfam dealing with Jason being a murderer
• Case fics! Action! Hurt!
• Wounds, wound care, scars (love that)
• family bonding
• Lex Luthor, Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen being rich and going on millionare adventures (while Bruce and Oliver pretend they like Lex/don't know each other/pretned to be dumb himbos)

DNW:

• Batcest (so a relationship between Dick, Jason, Tim, Bruce, Damian, Duke, Cass, Steph, and any other member of the Batfam)
• Alfred or Bruce bashing. In general, I don't want any character bashing

Prompts:

•  a character strips or takes off a piece of clothing and Batfam sees they have a loooooot more scars than they should
• a member of batfam hiding that they are hurt and Batfam discovering it and then them taking care of the hurt person
• A person being kidnapped as a civilian and them having to wait for rescue (bonus points if they don't have a communicator on them or if it gets destroyed and now they have to escape on their own)
• A member of Batfam hiding who they really are (meaning, for example, that Tim hides that he's Robin or RR) and how they do that, to what lenghts would they go to hide their identity

Likes:

• Lex Luthor, Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen being rich and going on millionare adventures (while Bruce and Oliver pretend they like Lex/don't know each other/pretned to be dumb himbos)
• Brucie Wayne from the POV of Alfred
• Alfred being like a father to Bruce
• Clark/Bruce 
• Oliver and Bruce friendship
• pining, yearning

DNW:

• Batcest (so a relationship between Dick, Jason, Tim, Bruce, Damian, Duke, Cass, Steph, and any other member of the Batfam)

•  Bruce being stuck in a social situation/a gala/being kidnapped and having to pretend he hasn't figured out how to escape already
• outsiders figuring out that Bruce is, in fact, highly competent
• Bruce and Clark being stuck on another planet and having to figure out what to do in an unknown culture

Likes:

• Holga getting a happy ending
• Edgin/Xenk is interesting, I think. I like them together because they bring the best in each other. Edgin makes Xenk more human, and Xenk helps Edgin realise his potential

• Doric/Simon
• Doric and Xenk bonding 
• Domesticity
• Case fics (or mission, in this case)
• Simon finally believing in himself (more than he does at the end of the movie)

DNW:

• any underage romance, thank you

Prompts:

• Xenk and Edgin pretending to be married in order to get an artifact/get rid of the bad guy
• Anything you can think of, really

Likes:

• Jaskier (yes, I prefer the name Jaskier and not Dandelion)/Geralt
• Pining, yearning, misunderstandings (resolved!)
• happy endings (or hopeful endings)
• Jaskier being competent (but not overly so, I like my characters to be human)
• Yennefer and Ciri - motherhood suits Yen
• Yennefer/Triss or Tissaia (what can I say, that woman is FINE)
• Aiden/Lambert
• I can also settle for Jaskier/Eskel, if that's more up your alley! I think they have an interesting dynamic (not in the show, I know, but you can think of something!)
• I adore Eskel centered fics (I'm a big sucker for scars, in case you couldn't tell), please revice my boy, the show did him dirty
• family bonding, found family
• Kaer Morhen (and the hot springssss), spending the Winter in the Keep
• Jaskier being immortal (but fics exploring his mortality are also fine, honestly)
• forgiveness and making up (after the fallout from the mountain, for example), Geralt trying to be better (as a friend, father, lover, brother, son, etc) and/or groveling for forgiveness
• Torture and the aftermath is fine
• I like the Warlord AU (tribute Jaskier is fine, but I would love to see something new!), with Geralt being a reluctant ruler of witchers
• Fics focusing on Jaskier and his family life
• Jaskier being a Bard (from D&D) and having magic (combine the Witcher with D&D and make 
• Jaskier as Sandpiper

DNW:

• Eskel being dead
• character bashing (especially Jaskier, Vesemir and Ciri)
• Assault (not explicit is fine)
• unhappy or bittersweet ending (life is depressing enough as is)

Prompts:

• a character being tortured/captured and beliving they will not get rescued (end then getting rescued)
• Canon Divergence (a different meeting, etc.) Maybe Jaskier not meeting Geralt until Ciri is already there?
• Jaskier being a badass in his own right (maybe they need intel and well, he's a spy and Sandpiper)
• Jaskier being a Harper (like Edgin from D&D:HAT) and the witchers (or maybe just Geralt) finding that out
• Geralt finding out that Jaskier is the Sandpiper when they're travelling together (or when Yennefer tells him that in the Winter and them hearing that Sandpiper's died, which makes them mourn and set out in search of Jaskier's body, only to figure out that Jaskier is not, in fact, dead)
